RASP ( Ranger Assessment and Selection Program) is one of the hardest courses to go through. The course is 12 weeks long and this website shows the tests you have to go through in the program. As well as how to prepare for them.
This blog is great for learning what to do before you get to RASP and also the training involved in the program.
Increasing Stamina Using calisthenics is a great way to increase stamina for the long runs during the program. Calisthenics is usually and free weight body workout to increase grace of movement and body condition.
Running Running for long distances is also a great way to achieve this because most of the tests will be time trials with running as the only obstacle.
Core One very important tip is to work on the core of the body. This will allow the best results in any field.
Weight Lifting Weight lifting is not mentioned on this website which I do believe is an extremely important aspect of preparation. This would apply for skinnier people who don't already have the muscle built up. When doing calisthenics it is hard to build up muscle as fast as weight lifting will. Using weight lifting then slowly transitioning to calisthenics is the best way to build up muscle and achieve great stamina.
